Wayside Waifs is Kansas City’s largest and most comprehensive no kill pet adoption campus. More than 30,000 pets and people are served annually through pet adoptions, youth education, canine training programs, and community outreach.

No animal should ever go hungry. Wayside’s pet food pantry supplies pet food to more than 3,000 community pets each year.
Does your furry friend need to learn manners? Maybe a little too jumpy or pulls on a leash? Wayside offers a variety of dog training classes for humans and their pets.
Thousands of animals are rescued from hoarding situations, puppy mills, natural disasters, and over - crowded shelters. Wayside Waifs partners with more than 70 animal welfare organization to help neglected and homeless animals.
