What would the Wayside Waifs’ campus be without a Sorority? The purpose of the Purr Gamma Bark Sorority is to provide a fun, exciting, and inclusive opportunity for professional and/or philanthropic women. The Sorority will help Wayside financially as well as build awareness for the organization’s mission. We typically host two Purr Gamma Bark events annually.
Purr Gamma Bark’s commitment to Wayside Waifs is to support a program each year.
There are three levels of Purr Gamma Bark membership and dues are renewed annually.

The 2026 Program We Are Supporting
Wayside Waifs Community Outreach Program
Funds raised through Purr Gamma Bark not only support direct animal care – they also support Wayside’s Community Outreach Program. This provides free and low-cost vaccine clinics, spay and neuter services, our Pet Food Pantry, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts for community cats. Together, we’re helping keep pets healthy, families together, and animals in our community safe.
