What would the Wayside Waifs’ campus be without a Sorority? The purpose of the Purr Gamma Bark Sorority is to provide a fun, exciting, and inclusive opportunity for professional and/or philanthropic women. The Sorority will help Wayside financially as well as build awareness for the organization’s mission. We typicallt host four Purr Gamma Bark events annually, including one service day.
Purr Gamma Bark’s commitment to Wayside Waifs is to support a program decided by the Executive Council each year. We will actively secure sponsors for our events so we can say with conviction that ALL membership dues will go directly to the project/program.
There are three levels of Purr Gamma Bark membership and dues are renewed annually.
Be sure to check Wayside’s events page for upcoming PGB get togethers!

The 2022 Program We Are Supporting
Wayside Waifs Fenby Webster Medical Care Fund
Our commitment to providing compassionate, thorough, humane medical care to the shelter animals prompted us to create The Fenby Webster Medical Care Fund. This fund was created to raise financial support for and bring awareness to the life-saving medical care provided every day at Wayside Waifs.
Gifts to The Fenby Fund directly support the medical care of Wayside’s most sick and injured shelter animals – providing care above and beyond traditional animal care of spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and flea/tick control. The Fenby Fund underwrites the cost of treatment for Heartworm disease and other upper respiratory infections, life-saving surgeries, diagnostic testing, dentistry, and so much more.
For more information about taking on a leadership role within Purr Gamma Bark, please contact Megan Harding at 816-986-4419 or email.
