Wayside Waifs’ affordable and accessible vaccination program is designed to support pet owners facing financial challenges, helping keep pets healthy, safe, and with the families who love them. These services are made possible in part through the generosity of private donors and volunteers who believe every pet deserves access to basic preventative care, regardless of a family’s financial circumstances.

We strongly encourage pet owners who are financially able to maintain an ongoing relationship with their personal veterinarian, while reserving these vital services for those who struggle to access care.

Vaccination services include core vaccines, including rabies, DA2PP and Bordetella for dogs, and FVRCP for cats. Heartworm, flea, and tick prevention is also available for purchase as well.

Wayside hosts several vaccination clinics throughout the year, both at our shelter location as well as in communities and neighborhoods lacking in accessible care.
