Hi there, my name is Nutmeg! I am pretty excited to be here at Wayside because the people are so nice and they tell me I will find a family here real soon!
I am about 40 pounds of awesomeness. I am a great age at 2 1/2 years old. I can be a little unsure and shy at first, but if you go slow and give me a little time to warm up to you, I will be your best buddy for life. I am sweet and gentle and love to take nice strolls around the trails here. I enjoy yummy treats and soft pets, I also am SMART. I know how to sit and shake already. Maybe you can help me learn some more cool things?

Thanks so much for reading about me! My name is Daffodil. It suits me because, like the flower, I am very pretty! When I came to Wayside, I was raising three kittens. My foster mom said I was an excellent mother to them. Now, my babies are ready to go out into the world on their own, and so am I. I’m ready to enjoy life being my special person’s baby.
I’m a smart, curious, cautious cat. I enjoy people and attention, but it takes me a while to feel comfortable around someone new. When you meet me, I ask that you please be patient and let me make the first move. When I come over to you, pet me gently down my back to break the ice. Ahh … that feels nice! Here at Wayside, one thing I’ve discovered that I really enjoy is watching bird videos on the internet. Maybe we could watch some together on your phone sometime. Or, maybe we could watch real birds together through a window.

Hi everybody, I’m Westin! I just rolled in on a transfer when my last place ran out of room. I am really happy to be at Wayside so I can find a family to love for life!
As you can see by my pics. I am very handsome but I have MANY awesome qualities about me! I am 6 1/2 years young and have a lot of pep in my step! I already know the commands “sit” and “down!” I recently became part of the Waif Runners program here at the shelter. My handler says I am on the green list (which is great!), and that I have a nice pace and love to trot along.
I am a larger boy at around 100 pounds, but don’t worry I can still fit on the couch, your bed or a soft recliner if you wouldn’t mind that. I have a gentle mouth when taking treats and walk nicely on leash, although I do get excited at times. My favorite thing to play with here at tennis balls, so hopefully we can stop and pick some of those up on our way home!
