Please welcome our Waifs of the Week: Morgan, Wally, and Wanda!
Please welcome Morgan, a gorgeous shorthaired tabby girl with the most beautiful mix of golden browns. She is a one-year-old domestic shorthair mix. She originally came to Wayside Waifs as a stray, but she is safe and ready to find her forever home! She can be shy at first, but once you get to know her she is the sweetest cat. As long as you go slow with her at first, and let her come to you, you will be fast friends in no time! She also is quite the listener, and loves to talk with people. Do you ever need to vent about your day? Morgan is the one to vent to! The Felineality assessors here at Wayside determined that she is a Sidekick! That means she moderately brave in new situations and loves spending time with her favorite person or people, making them look and feel good. Does Morgan sound like the one for you?

Meet Wally, a two-year-old Lab Retriever mix looking for his very own home. He originally came to Wayside Waifs after his last shelter transferred him to us. While he is having a blast, being in a home would be amazing. Wally prefers a home with children over the age of five, as he can be a little jumpy. He would not want to hurt anyone accidentally. He also asks that you have no small animals, such as cats or rabbits. He wants you all for himself! If you comply with his requests, he will give you all the kisses and snuggles. He is very smart too, as he knows the command “sit,” and is ready to learn more! Just present him with yummy treats and he is ready to go! Wally is an active boy, so he would love an active home with a fence where he can run around and exercise. He would also do well with a dog friend, as he has met some here and liked them! Come to Wayside and ask to meet him.

This is Wanda, a one-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix. She is a pretty girl waiting for her purrfect family. She was originally brought to Wayside Waifs when her last shelter ran out of space for her. Moving around like that can be scary, but she knows this is her last stop until a forever home! Our Felinality testers say she is a Personal Assistant. Once she gets settled in, she’ll be around to help you with anything and everything! She’ll help you pay bills by typing on the keyboard and she’ll hang out in your lap when it’s time to relax. She also is a big fan of toys, wands especially! If Wanda sounds like the girl for you, come and meet her today!
