Please welcome our Waifs of the Week: Vivi, Brewster, and Clif!

“Pleased to meet you! My name is Vivi. What’s yours? I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve heard people say I am one of the cutest and sweetest girls at Wayside. I have a beautiful round face, glowing copper eyes, and an adorable chunky little body. Black is very slimming, right? I love people. I’m a friendly girl who enjoys attention and affection. If you pet me, I will let you know how much I am loving it with my loud, soulful purr. My midnight-colored coat is like black velvet, so you will love petting me as much as I love having you do it! Right now at Wayside, I have a roommate, and we are getting along just fine. So if you have a friendly cat at home who needs a feline friend, I might be a good fit, as long as proper introductions are followed. There’s one more thing you should know about me: I am FIV-positive. It’s really no big deal. It just means that I need an indoors-only lifestyle, good food, and regular veterinary care. In return, I promise you a lifetime of cuteness and cuddles. Does that sound good to you?”

“Hey there! Thanks for reading about me. My name is Brewster and I’m a two-year-old fella looking for a family to love forever and ever. I’ve definitely moved around a bit and I’m looking for something stable and permanent. I know it won’t be long until I find a home of my very own. I’m a smart guy and I know “Sit”, “Down” and “Stay”. I love treats and toys and I know you and I can learn all sorts of treats and commands together. I aim to please and your praise will motivate me. I need a home with a tall fence and I can’t be left outside alone. I’m an athletic guy and I can easily scale a fence if left unattended. I’m confident and friendly and I can make friends pretty easily. I love getting belly rubs and giving kisses! I do pretty well on a leash and I’d love to release some energy by going on a walk or a run with you. After our adventure we can hang out and relax. I’m up for anything as long as I’m with you. I do ask that you bring the whole family, including four-legged friends to come meet me. I want to make sure we’re all a good fit for each other. I can’t wait to meet you. Come to Wayside and ask to say hi to Brewster!”

“Orange you glad you are reading about me? I sure am! Hi there, my name is Clif, and I’m a very handsome classic orange, or “red” tabby. I came to Wayside from another shelter that was low on space. I’m tickled pink to be here, where I just know I will find the purrfect person or people for me. I’m a friendly, laid-back, mellow fellow. I enjoy being petted, and my favorite thing is to just roll around, purr and make air biscuits while you are talking to me. I really helps me concentrate on what you are saying as I hang on your every word. Wouldn’t you love to come home and tell me all about your day? When I had my Felineality test here, they told me I’m a Sidekick. That was no surprise to me. You see, my mission in life is to just hang out beside my favorite person or people, making them look and feel good. Think I could do that for you?”
